Consumer Driven Health Plan 

The Lumenos CDHP Option is offered through Blue Cross / Blue Shield.

Features of the plan and how it works:

  • Preventive Care
    • You are covered at 100% for nationally recommended services, with no deductions from your HRA
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
    • You receive funds from Northrop Grumman for your HRA
    • The plan pays 100% when funds are available
    • You can use the funds for HRA extras
  • The "Bridge" (Amount that you pay out-of-pocket, before the plan begins to pay benefits)
    • If your medical expenses exceed the funds in your HRA, you pay a limited out-of-pocket amount
    • You pay only as expenses are incurred
    • This amount can be reduced or eliminated by HRA rollover funds
  • Traditional Health Coverage
    • Additional protection covers the services allowed by Northrop Grumman
    • You pay coinsurance for covered services
    • You are covered 100% after coinsurance maximum is met

Traditional Health Coverage If you exceed the Bridge, you are:
 
90% covered for in-network providers (you pay 10%), or

60% covered for out-of-network providers (you pay 40%)
 Your Coinsurance Maximum (maximum out-of-pocket expense after you exceed the Bridge) $4,200   $6,300  $6,300 $8,400
